Since my husband passed away I was searching for someone to take over and preserve the Les Elgart Orchestra.

Several years ago former band member Russ Dorsey contacted me.

He told me how much he loved the Les Elgart Orchestra and performed many of the Les Elgart Classic recordings with his own orchestra. He said, " Les's music is timeless".

Russ proposed to restore the original music, find many of the original musicians, restore the library and handle the promotions.

Since that time Russ has done more for the orchestra than I could ever imagine.

It is such a pleasure to hear Les's Music played the way it was originally played.
